People who are transgender experience difficulty in finding mental health and substance use providers who are knowledgeable and can provide appropriate care. This is especially difficult for teens and young adults as they navigate the world.  We will discuss current language and challenge myths to improve competency and work towards overall well-being using evidence-based trauma-informed intervention.
